The kitchens at Casa Verapaz are designed for actual cooking. Every residence has a full kitchen, refrigerator and freezer, cooking utensils and a private gas BBQ. We also provide coffee, sugar, olive oil and salt.

Bring some cash
There is currently no ATM in Santa Catarina Palopó, so it is useful to withdraw quetzales in Panajachel or another larger community. Cash is useful for tuk-tuks, smaller shops and everyday purchases.
